About Ariadne's Owl

This OWL is a place to talk about and share writing, and to explore the power of well-crafted words. It is an experimental teaching site for writers. The idea has been on my mind for many years and I'm not the only one to have thought of it, of course. Prudue University has an award-winning OWL that is much more extensive than what I hope to accomplish. It is an especially valuable link for resources—everything from how to write a number out correctly to how to overcome writers block. I am not attempting to repeat or compete, but rather offer elements that will uniquely assist writers working in any capacity with me.

About Molly Dwyer

I'm a writer, teacher, tutor, and editor. I spent September through December of 2009 living in Paris and working on my second novel—The Appassionata. Following in the footsteps of writers I've long admired, I spun the roulette wheel, risking everything—or so it feels, in pursuit of a dream. My first novel, Requiem for the Author of Frankenstein, is about Mary Shelley. It was nominated for the 2009 Northern California Book of the Year Award for Fiction. I have lived in Northern California since 1970, and to be honored as a writer by the region I love is truly magnificent.
